Isometric certifies carbon removal and reduction across engineered and nature-based projects. Project developers get paid sooner, and buyers get certificates backed by proof, not trust.

Certify, Isometric's AI-powered certification platform, uses agents to review the evidence and check every data point, so certificates are issued in days, not months.
Every certificate is backed by protocols developed by the largest Science Team of any certifier and reviewed by an independent network of more than 500 academics.
Isometric publishes the data and calculations behind every certificate on the public Registry. Anyone can check the evidence themselves.
Isometric is accredited by ICVCM, CORSIA, and ICROA, and has nine protocols approved to use the Core Carbon Principles label.

Isometric certifies 20 carbon removal and reduction approaches, from nature-based to engineered pathways, each with dedicated Certify features.
Pathways that capture carbon in biomass and store it durably, from biochar to geological storage.
For projects that convert biomass into biochar and store it in soils, the shallow subsurface, or building materials.
For projects that capture biogenic carbon dioxide from industrial processes and store it.
For projects that inject processed biomass into natural or engineered subsurface features and geologic formations.
For projects that convert biomass into bio-oil and inject it into natural or engineered subsurface features and geologic formations.
For projects that process biomass and store it in the shallow subsurface for long-term carbon storage.
Nature-based pathways that remove carbon or prevent emissions in forests, soils, savannas, and coastal ecosystems.
For projects that remove carbon dioxide by growing trees on agricultural land.
For projects that reduce emissions by protecting forests at risk of being cleared.
For projects that remove carbon dioxide through changes to forest management practices.
For projects that increase soil carbon through changes to land management.
For projects that remove carbon dioxide by restoring mangrove ecosystems.
For projects that remove carbon dioxide by re-establishing forests.
For projects that shift savanna fires from the late to the early dry season, removing carbon dioxide and reducing methane and nitrous oxide.
Capturing carbon dioxide directly from the air for permanent storage.
For projects that capture carbon dioxide directly from the atmosphere and store it.
Spreading crushed silicate rock on farmland to speed up a natural carbon removal process.
For projects that remove carbon dioxide by spreading crushed rock on agricultural land.
Pathways that use the ocean and waterways to remove and store carbon.
For projects that capture carbon dioxide from ocean water and store it.
For projects that use the electrolysis of seawater to store carbon dioxide as stable minerals.
For projects that add alkalinity to the ocean through coastal outfalls.
For projects that add alkalinity to rivers.
For projects that add alkalinity at wastewater treatment plants.
Locking carbon dioxide into stable minerals through reactions with alkaline materials.
For projects that mineralize carbon dioxide using alkaline materials in open systems.

Certify, Isometric's AI-powered platform, works alongside independent verifiers to review every data point behind a claim, not just a sample, doing in hours what used to take months.

Every project follows the same path set out in the Isometric Standard, from eligibility to certificates on the public Registry.
Isometric confirms the project meets the Standard and protocol requirements.
The project's design is published so scientists, carbon market experts, and the public can comment on it.
An independent verifier, chosen by Isometric, reviews the design and visits the site.
Certify and an independent verifier review the evidence behind every tonne removed or reduced.
Certificates are issued on the public Registry, with the data behind them.
Isometric certifies carbon removal and emissions reduction projects under 20 public protocols. These cover engineered approaches, such as Direct Air Capture, Biochar, and Enhanced Weathering, and nature-based approaches, such as Reforestation, Mangrove Restoration, and Avoided Deforestation. See them all on the Isometric Registry.
Each Isometric certificate (often called a carbon credit) represents one tonne of carbon dioxide removed from the atmosphere or prevented from entering it, backed by a full life cycle assessment, conservative quantification, and independent verification.
Every project is validated once before its first verification, and validation can be completed in weeks. After that, Certify reviews each verification's data in hours, so certificates can be issued in days rather than months.
Isometric chooses each project's verifier and pays for verification itself, so project developers never select or pay the people checking their work. That removes the commercial pressure to over-credit that arises when verifiers compete for developers' business.
Yes. The data, calculations, and evidence behind every Isometric certificate are published on the public Registry for anyone to check.
Yes. Isometric is accredited by ICVCM, CORSIA, and ICROA, and nine of its protocols are approved to use the CCP label.
Fast, accurate certification for project developers and buyers.
