Add, remove and edit removal components
Certify users can now edit the structure of their Removals by adding, editing and removing emissions, sequestrations and other component types. These features mean that even removals that deviate from the normal structure of a project’s LCA can be quickly and easily reported.
Storage monitoring
Certify now supports direct submission of storage monitoring data within the platform. This feature helps suppliers track and submit required monitoring information to verify the ongoing effectiveness of carbon storage.
The monitoring interface makes it simple to identify what data needs to be submitted and when. Suppliers can input their monitoring data directly in the platform, while the system highlights any missing information.
Project area self-serve for Enhanced Weathering suppliers
Enhanced Weathering suppliers can now upload geospatial data for their project area. They can upload polygons representing designated control, treatment, and deployment areas, as well as the measurement locations where samples (e.g. soil) were taken to quantify carbon removal. This data will be displayed in a plot map preview, allowing suppliers to see how their project area will appear on the public registry.
Stripe checkout
The Isometric Registry now supports Suppliers selling directly to customers through Stripe. Customers can purchase credits complete with Isometric verification in one transaction, then suppliers can seamlessly deliver credits through their registry account. The integration handles all payment processing, enabling efficient and secure transactions.
Suppliers can embed this purchase flow into their existing pages with no engineering support required.
Time-Based Amortization
Certify users can now easily amortize project emissions with new time-based allocation rules. Project emissions can be automatically allocated to each submitted removal according to a custom time period, or based on the projected total lifetime of the project.
Read more in the documentation for how to use these allocation rules via the Certify API.
Feedstock eligibility
Isometric has launched a new biomass feedstocks eligibility questionnaire. This self-service tool allows suppliers to assess their feedstock's compliance with Isometric’s biomass feedstock accounting module. The questionnaire evaluates feedstocks against the Isometric sourcing criteria, providing immediate feedback on eligibility.
We've also introduced in-platform feedstock creation capabilities for suppliers to add new biomass feedstocks and submit for validation. The platform highlights all of the required documentation and supports direct submission.
Updated removal page
Viewing and editing removal data have been enhanced to make it easier to scan CO₂e flux amounts in each removal. The interface now offers more space to view parameter inputs, units and sources. The total net CO₂e removed is always displayed and can be expanded to provide a detailed breakdown of fluxes.
Removal Labels
Certify now supports assigning labels to removals. Labels can be used as an additional filter when working with your removal data, such as when choosing credits to be delivered.
Our documentation now includes details for how to apply labels via the Certify API to enhance your data.
Credit delivery by feedstock
Credit deliveries can now be specified with a feedstock. If a buyer has a preference for receiving credits from a specific feedstock, suppliers can select to fulfil orders using credits from that feedstock only. Credits are labelled by feedstock, giving buyers confidence in credit delivery.
Enhanced Weathering plot map and calculation tree
Enhanced Weathering project and credit pages now feature a plot map, making it easier to understand where weathering took place. The plot map displays the allocation of control, treatment and deployment areas, and the measurement locations where samples were taken.
Furthermore, the credits calculation tree has been updated to support the more complex expressions required for weathering calculations. This includes functions to interrogate statistical distributions, nested expressions, and the ability to interrogate individual measurement values that are provided as list inputs to calculations.
Project emissions
Certify users can now easily track embodied emissions over a project’s lifecycle, by adding Project emissions directly to their carbon accounting. Project emissions are automatically allocated to each submitted Removal based on Isometric approved allocation rules.
