Today, Isometric is joining Notion, Shopify, and Stripe by making a remote Model Context Protocol (MCP) server available to the public. An MCP server enables AI assistants to securely connect with trusted data sources so they can provide accurate, up-to-date answers, and complete tasks in real time.
Isometric’s MCP server enables major AI assistants like ChatGPT, Anthropic’s Claude, and Cursor to seamlessly answer questions and solve tasks involving Isometric's protocols, products, and Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) by connecting directly to Isometric's documentation and data.
Navigating the world of carbon markets is complex. With Isometric’s MCP server, AI assistants can help suppliers, buyers, verifiers, and academics quickly find answers to detailed questions such as: "What's the difference in Isometric's requirements for issuing biochar credits with 200-year versus 1,000+ year durability?" They can also streamline the credit issuance process by surfacing the right documentation at the right time.
By connecting directly to Isometric’s official data and documentation, the MCP server ensures these responses are both accurate and comprehensive.
Earlier this year, selected verifiers, suppliers, and partners supported the development of Isometric's MCP server by participating in a private beta release.
