Comply with Enhanced Weathering requirements with Certify

How Enhanced Weathering suppliers can submit data directly to Certify and prepare for verification.

Isometric Certify recently launched to help streamline every step of the verification process for suppliers. Certify makes rapid credit issuance a reality—allowing suppliers to quickly and easily issue the highest-quality carbon removal (CDR) credits and generate revenue in months, not years.

This is the last of three posts exploring how you can use Isometric Certify and focuses on how Certify enables Enhanced Weathering (EW) suppliers to submit measurement data directly into the platform and quickly prepare for verification.

EW should be a significant pathway for carbon dioxide removal (CDR). It is relatively low cost, can be applied in many settings and creates substantial co-benefits—like improved soil health, greater agricultural productivity and job creation in rural communities. But, doing scientifically rigorous monitoring, reporting and verification (MRV) in EW has been challenging to date, due to the complexity involved.

Certify supports a science-driven approach to robust quantification of carbon removal via EW that relies on comprehensive, direct measurement data. Certify helps you to quickly understand what data you need to collect and how to quantify your carbon removal in accordance with Isometric’s rigorous Enhanced Weathering protocol and Feedstock Characterization module. Certify also creates standardized ways to submit data—increasing data accuracy, speeding up reviews, and reducing friction during verification.

You can submit all of the key data needed to validate your project. This includes:

  • Feedstock characterization data: upload documentation and sample measurements for each rock and mineral feedstock used in your project.
  • Baseline soil characterization data: establish soil heterogeneity and confirm that control areas are representative of the broader project area.
  • Soil, porewater, ion exchange resin, and biomass data: upload measurements for all sampling events across your project area.

Certify lets you use validated data directly in your carbon removal calculations, providing a seamless pipeline from data submission to verification. By selecting the area to credit, the feedstock used, and time periods for baseline and post-application sampling, you can estimate the number of credits Isometric would issue.

With Certify, you can ensure verification-readiness and get confirmation of your quantification results faster than ever before. If you’re working on an Enhanced Weathering project, try submitting measurement data in Certify today.
