Isometric’s dMRV platform makes fast and rigorous carbon removal verification a reality. For Vaulted Deep, that means issuing fully third-party verified and highest quality credits on a monthly cadence.
The dMRV platform works by creating a standardized way for suppliers and verifiers to provide all required data and evidence to Isometric. By automating these data flows the platform drastically reduces the time from submission of carbon accounting data to crediting—from months to days. Isometric’s system supports accelerated verification by moving from spreadsheets and manual data entry to an automated, machine-learning based approach to evaluating carbon removal data. This is a key step in modernizing how carbon markets work.
Vaulted Deep’s CEO Julia Reichelstein began working with Isometric in fall 2023, with the goal of issuing carbon removal credits for their high capacity biomass carbon removal and sequestration well in Hutchinson, Kansas. Vaulted Deep wanted to issue their first credits and ensure they would be the highest quality in the market. Crucially for their business, they needed to issue credits on a monthly basis to match their continuous operations.
By the end of 2023, Isometric had conducted a project validation, site visit, and verification of Vaulted Deep’s first batch of sequestered biomass slurry. Today, Isometric’s streamlined verification process now supports Vaulted Deep in issuing credits on a monthly basis, only weeks after carbon has been injected into the ground.
As a carbon removal supplier, Vaulted Deep knows urgency is critical. That’s why they were looking for a credit certification partner that could match their ambitious speed.
Vaulted Deep had already built an in-house data management system to manage their complex data collection and were able to integrate it with Isometric’s documented, easy-to-use API within weeks. This integration simplified and automated the process of preparing carbon removal claims.
Now operators can submit, edit and conduct quality control and assurance on their data, while also providing transparency into how removals are progressing through the verification process.

Standardizing the verification experience is not just great for accuracy and rigor: it also speeds up the process. Before, a typical verification was a manual process taking 12-16 weeks of verifier’s time—hence it was only feasible to do annually. Such a slow cadence freezes a huge amount of revenue for the supplier as funds can only be realized when credits are delivered to the buyer.
